Tree Week - Environmental Board Games
Tree Week - Environmental Board Games
In-PersonLast Revised: Aug 8th, 2024
Event Description
Drop in to Central's Teen department (second floor) anytime during Lexington's 6th annual Tree Week and play an environmentally themed board game.
We will have multiple games available for ages 8+ and for larger or smaller groups. Ask the Librarian at the Teen desk for the list of games to play; anyone is welcome! Event will also feature Climate Conversation's card deck, Let’s Talk About Climate, which uses four levels of questions to ease people into talking about climate change in ways that feel safe, engaging, and meaningful.
The event will be on the second floor in the Teen area (location has both stair and elevator access). Two hours of free parking is provided with a ticket validated inside the Central Library.
Our parking garage is located between the Police Department and the Lexington Public Library at 140 East Main Street. As you are traveling west down Main Street, the entrance to the parking garage will be on your left. If you reach Limestone Street, you have gone too far.
This event is kid-friendly and accessible to people with mobility limitations.
