Event Description

Join Brett Bentley of Bentleymade for a hands-on Green Woodworking Workshop.

Traditional "Green" woodworking uses freshly-fallen local timber that is still has it's natural, living moisture content. As the moisture dries, the wood fibers tighten up and compress. The masters of this traditional woodworking method utilize the properties that are unique to the wood's species and age to be able to hand-shape and bond it into timeless works of art. Event will be held in the Broomwagon Courtyard during brunch service. In the event of rain it will be hosted in the upstairs space above the bikeshop, accessed from the stairwell door on the backside of the building by the cafe entrance.

This event is kid-friendly.
