Event Description

“It is unequivocal that human influence has warmed the atmosphere, ocean and land” (IPCC, Sixth Assessment Report, 2021). With this in mind, we must look to each other to imagine and build a better future together. Climate Conversations uses the give and take of conversation to spread awareness, thought, and positive change toward a climate resilient Lexington. Monthly meet-ups provide participants with the opportunity to come together to share stories, helpful language, and opportunities for action, with the goal of spurring the diffusion of information and solutions through public and private relationships- families, friendships, spaces of worship, and local government. We believe that talking and listening is a powerful tool to initiate change personally and more broadly within the space of community. Share, learn, imagine, and act with us through Climate Conversations.

This event is kid-friendly and handicap accessible.
