Event Description
Our concert explores music written about the natural beauty of Kentucky and beyond our borders. One section of the concert will focus on the fragility of our beautiful land and how "we belong to the earth. The earth does not belong to us." This section includes the selections NATIVE AMERICAN AMBIANCES by Jackson Berkey, TUNDRA by Norwegian composer Ola Gjeilo, EARTH SONGS by Canadian composer Stephen Chatman, and THE BLUE GREEN HILLS OF EARTH by Kim Oller. Tickets to the concert are $22 for the general public, $10 for students. Tickets can be purchased at the door or on the Lexington Chamber Chorale website linked.
This event is kid-friendly and handicap accessible.
Event access is off Ransom Street, street entrance, and free parking is available in a parking lot and on the street. There is no access from East Main Street.
