Tree Planting Event at Shaker Run Greenway
We are hosting a tree planting event next Saturday 10/15/22 from 9 a.m. to Noon at the Shaker Run Greenway off of Polo Club and are inviting neighbors to join us. Please bring your planting tools, work gloves, drinking water and dress appropriate for the weather. We will have 150 trees to plant in prepared and designated locations. The trees are of a size that would allow people of all ages to help plant! Russ Turpin with EcoGro will be coordinating the event and would like to know in advance how many would be attending. Shaker Run Greenway is a city-owned corridor at 2980 Polo Club Blvd. Parking is available on the street, with a brief walk along a mowed trail to the planting locations.
