Forest Bathing
Description
Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku, which translates to "forest bathing," the guided experience provides opportunities for you to bring your full attention to the beauty, generosity and energy of trees, the forest, and the natural world. Forest Therapy promotes healing and wellness through immersion in forests and other natural environments and has been shown to have positive impacts on the immune system, cardiovascular health, and stress.
Your virtually guided Forest Bathing experience will take place in a natural setting of your choice. An ideal spot is one where you can move around in an area that provides opportunities to slow down, explore, stop, or sit to immerse yourself in the environment. Your guide, Evelyn Knight, is a certified Forest Therapy Guide. "The forest is the therapist. The guide opens the doors."
