Urban Forest Initiative Tree Week 2019 Isaac Murphy Memorial Art Garden tree planting

Description

Come and plant trees at the Isaac Murphy Memorial Art Garden in Lexington. This park commemorates African-American Hall of Fame jockey Isaac Burns Murphy, 3-time Kentucky Derby winner and one of the greatest riders in American Thoroughbred horse racing history. This tree planting will be a volunteer effort in connection to the North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE), whose national conference is happening in Lexington during Tree Week!
