Oaks and Hickories of the Palisades: A Tree ID Hike

Description

There are 9 hickories and over 20 oaks native to Kentucky, making them challenging groups to learn. We will cover species commonly found in Central Kentucky's forests and woodlands. We will explore the uplands and lowlands of the Trail’s End tract and take a break along the Kentucky River.
