Henry Clay High School Go Green Club Campus Tree Mapping and Planting
Participants will walk around Henry Clay's campus identifying and mapping trees on the app iNaturalist to create an interactive map of trees on the campus. We will also plant a few native tree species on school grounds. Additionally, we will sell button pins from One Tree Planted (https://onetreeplanted.org/), a global non-profit that plants a tree for every pin purchased, to pay for the trees we are planting. Incorporating One Tree Planted into our Tree Week event brings a global perspective on the importance of a strong tree canopy.

All are welcome! We recommend downloading the app iNaturalist before attending. We request that participants wear masks when distancing is not possible.
