Beginners Bird Watch
Join the Central Kentucky Audobon Society for our first ever Tree Week event. We'll be gathering at the Lexington Cemetery at 9:00am to talk about basic binocular and bird-watching skills then take a quick walk to see what migrants we can see/count. Attendees are encouraged to have an eBird account (https://ebird.org/home) as citizen science results from our walk will be shared.
A limited number of loaner binoculars will be available to share. Unvaccinated attendees must wear masks; vaccinated = masks optional.
Meet in the Lexington Cemetery (833 W. Main Street) by the Henry Clay monument (just beyond the first left turn inside the gate). Park along the side of the road but NOT on the grass.
