Adopt-a-Tree: Laurie, Sam and pin oak

> Laurie and Sam

Tree species

> Pin oak

 > In our backyard

This pin oak was one of the reasons we bought this house. This massive tree provides so much shade, habitat for birds and food for our neighborhood wildlife! Our home was built in 1958 and we guess the tree was planted once the house was completed which makes this pin oak about 67 years old.
