Narrative
The tree that we decided to adopt was planted by sorority and fraternity circle. This Black Walnut provides a lot of good resources to the campus. One resource this tree provides is tremendous shade on a hot day. I see a lot of students on campus utilizing this resource. This tree can also provide students with a stand to hook their hammock up to. That is definitely something we will want to do in the future. This tree brings a very unique atmosphere to the University of Kentucky's campus, and when the leaves are blooming in early spring, it is something that will brighten a students day.
