This tree is beautiful sight when it blooms. It's located near one of many iconic Kentucky stone fences. The tree brightens my day when I exit choir rehearsals on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Many students from Singletary Center and Fine Arts will sit around it, play frisbee, talk, hang out, and climb the tree. Occasionally, a hammock will pop up, and lounging students can be found under the foliage. More often, people will sit under the tree on a ground blanket. There is a nice table shaded by the tree where I often work on assignments when the weather is nice. Sometimes, students will play their instruments outside near the tree, a welcome sight and sound.
