Narrative
After walking around in search for a tree that could catch our eye we came across this Norway spruce. At first glance was the hustle and bustle of the area surrounding the tree and with just a few more steps you could enter a peaceful realm hidden by the canopy which lies falling onto the ground. It is obvious this tree has been hiding this little protected area underneath its branches and needles for many years and all seasons. This conifer still stands even though the soil is compacted by walkers cutting through from sidewalk to sidewalk. We decided this tree is in need of some protection.
