Narrative
This tree is important to Sophia because she has always been fond of trees. As a child Sophia and her friends spent many summer and fall days climbing the trees in her neighborhood trying to make it to the top. Her favorite tree to climb was a pine tree because of the different layered branches. In addition to this, Sophia loves driving down her street looking out the window of her car at the trees changing colors imagining that she is in her own little world. This tree is important to Ana because her father owns a nursery. Ever since Ana was little she would go out to the nursery with her dad and grandfather and listen to them talk about the trees, shrubs and perennials. Trees have a special place in her heart because they remind her of home. Adopting a tree on campus gives Ana a little place of home on campus and reminds her of the nursery.
