Narrative
My favorite tree is called the Weeping Willow, also known as Salix babylonica. It has a 15-inch diameter and its branches hang down like vines. It's 30.5 feet in the air. This tree is located in my backyard, and its bark has different shapes and patterns that make it unique. This is my favorite tree because is looks really cool with all of the hanging branches and the long, thin like leaves. This tree is particularly important to me because it reminds me of the tree that was planted in honor of my grandmother at Assumption High School when she died. Two services that this tree provides are storm water and property value. The Weeping Willow can consume/contain 3,821 gallons of storm water per year and it helps our basement stay dry. Property value increases the amount your house is worth.
